Haroch Studio beautifully restored three French Art Deco furniture pieces for me: a small buffet bookcase, an octagonal center table on base and a large buffet cabinet.

While each piece had its own unique challenges they all shared some similar distresses such as cracks in their substructures, missing and lifting veneers, as well as dull, lifeless and scratched states of their French polished finishes when they arrived at Haroch Studio.

The large buffet’s ormolu was extremely dull due to oxidization and the leather door panel was very dry with the pattern grazed off.

Rafael Haroch came very highly recommended to me through contacts at Christies, New York. Rafael was very responsive to my first call and came right away to inventory the pieces. His estimate for the necessary work to be done was forthcoming within two to three days.

Once the pieces were in his studio I went down to talk to Rafael and his team in more depth on different issue regarding the pieces. I found all of the team to be very professional and pleasant.

All of the work was done in a timely manner and Rafael kept me updated with emails and phone calls.

The finished products were stunning and I was extremely happy with the entire process of working with Rafael and his team at Haroch Studio.
