These massive screens arrived broken. In order to begin the restoration, we put them together dry, making sure the pieces fit, and removing all the loose parts. Given the size, we had to build a custom jig (repair platform) just to hold them properly. There was quite a bit of missing material that needed to be replaced, for which we used similar sand. We were actually given a piece of same sandstone, which we sanded down and then applied, and also tinted the color to match the rest of the piece.
