Arriving in our workshop was a stunning 19th century console table with severe breaks demanding meticulous attention. The restoration process commenced with a thorough cleaning of the fractured sections, followed by precise dry fitting and gluing. The delicate task of recreating missing floral carvings from solid wood ensued, requiring artisanal craftsmanship to seamlessly integrate them into the table's design. Subsequently, our focus shifted to harmonizing the restored areas with the original piece, ensuring a seamless transition. Finally, employing traditional water gilding techniques, we applied a radiant finish, breathing new life into this exquisite piece.
