The antique tripod tables presented several challenges, including multiple breaks in the rim connections, chipped gilding, and signs of wood dehydration with visible cracks in the base. Additionally, the legs and their connections were loose. Our restoration process started with a comprehensive cleaning, extending to the meticulous care of the stone. We then prioritized the reinforcement of all structural components. With careful attention to detail, we polished the marble tops, executed a refined French polishing technique on all wooden surfaces, and conducted precise color touch-ups to breathe new life into these elegant pieces.
